RIM is hiring a full-time Proposal Writer/Marketing Coordinator. This professional position is primarily responsible for managing innovative proposal writing for RIM’s Hawaii and Guam offices; providing assistance as needed to other RIM locations. This highly collaborative position works with employees in all RIM locations.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work legally in the United States without restrictions

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field; relevant experience considered in lieu of education

• Minimum of three years applicable experience

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite

• Experience in an Architectural/Engineering firm a big plus and experience writing proposals for Public Sector clients preferred

• Experience with CRM a plus

• Exceptional creative writing skills and oral communication skills

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with diverse personalities

• Ability to produce high quality work under pressure

• Skill to understand and comply with detailed requirements in Requests for Proposal

• Proactive ability to provide recommendations and solve problems using good judgment

• Ability to work effectively in an open work space environment; reporting directly to Vice President of Marketing in San Francisco location

• Positive attitude, team oriented and energetic personality

• A professional appearance and conduct are required


Responsibilities

• Research and maintain leads utilizing subscription services and manage go/no go meetings with Managing Principals

• Organize, write and manage production of proposals utilizing information provided by staff members related to project information, graphics, fees, cost data, design criteria, production techniques, approach, etc. in accordance with RIM’s brand

• Initiate, write and maintain project descriptions and resumes for use in proposals, brochures, award submittals, etc.

• Create and issue social media posts and press releases for new employees, employee promotions, new projects and other projects deemed “promotional” by firm

• Develop, and manage all government forms relating to business development, i.e.: the SF 330

• Collaborate with brochure maintenance, write biographies and generally provide collateral materials for use by the firm

• Prepare presentation materials for current and perspective clients and for in-house use

• Maintain working knowledge of subconsultants and secure their appropriate information for proposals as may be required

• Gather/assemble project and related RIM data helpful in the marketing process utilizing Deltek software and project files

• Create correspondence of a general nature relative to business development; write correspondence of a technical nature with input from staff members as appropriate

• Prepare and coordinate information for design and related award programs

• May also perform special projects and other business-related duties as determined
