-Summary Fellowship Statement for Larry S. Cash
With RIM Architects’ 30th Anniversary fast approaching on April 1, there is great reason to celebrate a little early. RIM is very proud to announce our founder and President/CEO, Larry Cash, was elected to fellowship by the 2016 College of Fellows Jury of The American Institute of Architects. Larry was nominated last fall by AIA Alaska chapter and its local contingent of fellows.
This highly competitive, prestigious award is a well-deserved professional milestone for Larry and all of
RIM: reflective of a steadfast belief in excellence, a passion for architecture, service to the public, and an unwavering vision to create and lead a successful multi-location architecture firm. Each year, The Jury of Fellows elevates a select number of AIA members to its prestigious College of Fellows. Out of a total AIA membership of approximately 88,000, there are fewer than 3,200 members distinguished with this honor. Larry will receive his Fellowship medal during the Investiture of Fellows Ceremony that will occur at the annual national AIA Convention 2016 in Philadelphia this May.
“The AIA Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Election to Fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of the architect as an individual, but also honors before the public and the profession a model architect who has made a significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.”
