Talo Verde Executive Home
RESIDENTIAL
This 8,200 sf executive home was designed for a long narrow lot overlooking Tumon Bay. The home includes multiple guest suites, a music room, library, billiards room, spa, wine cellar, cigar bar, exercise room, and a large 3-car garage. The greatest challenge was to fit these required spaces within the setbacks and view corridors as called out by the subdivision design covenants while still allowing for a strong connection with the outdoors. RIM took a split level design approach which makes for a dramatic connection of spaces, and allows one to experience tropical gardens and ocean views from every part of the house. The multiple levels allow for a 2,100 sf day-lighted basement, a design feature not typically found on Guam. The backyard has a large negative edge swimming pool with a whirlpool and dramatic water feature walls plus covered lanais, an outdoor kitchen, and entertainment areas.
This executive home was featured in The Wall Street Journal’s “Home of the Day.”
